About the Orangeville Bears Program
The Orangeville Bears are Athlete Institute’s newest OBA-sanctioned, rep-level basketball team. Available for athletes between the age of 10-18, this program is meant for those looking for a competitive league in Orangeville’s fastest-growing sport.
This program provides a great pathway for those athletes who may have formerly played in our AIBL or AIBL Selects programs, and are looking to continue to the next step in their basketball journey.
The Orangeville Bears also function as a stepping stone for those aspiring to one day join the Orangeville Prep program, providing exposure to coaches and trainers. This can be seen on our Orangeville Basketball Pyramid.

All players should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start time, ready to play.

As a coach with the Bears, you’ll play a key role in teaching fundamental skills, building team culture, and supporting young players as they grow on and off the court. This is a volunteer position—ideal for coaches, educators, former players, or anyone who wants to give back to the game in a meaningful way.
