OVA SANCTIONED — FALL 2026
We're proud to announce that Orangeville Bears Volleyball Club has been officially approved as a member club of the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) — the governing body for competitive volleyball across the province.
In September 2026, the Bears plan to field 4 teams:
15U Boys
15U Girls
16U Girls
17U Girls
Based out of Athlete Institute in Orangeville, Ontario, the Orangeville Bears Volleyball Club gives the region its first dedicated rep volleyball program in years. It’s the newest chapter in grassroots sports at Athlete Institute, since the launch of the Orangeville Bears Basketball rep program in 2025.
Get On The Court.
Get Seen.
Open gyms are exposure and evaluation opportunities for the 2026–27 season. Bears coaches assess every athlete throughout the summer to help shape team rosters ahead of formal tryouts in September.

What is Orangeville Bears Volleyball Club?
Based out of Athlete Institute in Orangeville, Ontario, the Orangeville Bears Volleyball Club gives the region its first dedicated rep volleyball program in years. It’s the newest chapter in grassroots sports at Athlete Institute, since the launch of the Orangeville Bears Basketball rep program in 2025.
In September 2026, the Bears plan to field 4 teams 15U Boys and 15U, 16U, and 17U Girls teams.
Built over a Decade.
The Bears aren't starting from scratch. They're the next step in a nationally recognized volleyball facility that has already run 20+ seasons of youth volleyball leagues, annual volleyball camps and clinics, developed 800+ volleyball players, hosted 75+ volleyball tournaments, hosted national-level events through the All Canadian Volleyball Games, and operates one of Ontario’s most active volleyball facilities — with 5 indoor courts and 4 beach courts on site.
OVA club status means Orangeville Bears athletes now compete within Ontario's official club volleyball pathway — accessing sanctioned tournaments, provincial rankings, and a clear route to elite-level competition.
The foundation was already here. The credential just got confirmed.
Welcome to Bears Volleyball.
