“The League” season 2 starts this September 2018!

Every other week, for 11 total weeks.

 

Week 1 - September 10-14th, 2018

Week 2 - September 24-28th, 2018

Week 3 - October 8-12th, 2018

Week 4 - October 22-26th, 2018

Week 5 - November 5-9th, 2018

Week 6 - November 19-23rd, 2018

Week 7 - December 3-7th, 2018

No competition weeks of December 24th-28th and December 31st-January 4th

 

Week 9 - January 7-11th, 2019

Week 10 - January 21-25th, 2019

Week 11 - February 4-8th, 2019

 

Final League event on Saturday February 16th, 2019

What

 

This is an 11-week Fall/Winter league, with bi-weekly CrossFit workouts that will be officially judged, scored, and ranked. The League will culminate in an individual members competition on Saturday February 16th 2019, where the top 3 males and females will be announced and prizes will be awarded.

Who

 

Anyone can join, every single workout will be scaled appropriately for all ages and skill levels.

 

How it works

 

  1. Sign up for $20, either with a CrossFit Orangeville staff member, or through your ZenPlanner account.

  2. Show up and compete every other week.

  3. Workouts must be completed at any point between the time the workout is announced, and Friday of that same week. 

  4. Scores must be submitted by midnight on Friday of that same week. 

  5. You may complete each weekly workout as many times as you wish, and submit your best score.

  6. Make sure to have an official judge score your workout for you.

  7. Take a pic of your scoresheet and send it, with your score, to Coach Tyler tyler.robbins@athleteinstitute.ca

  8. Follow the leaderboard from week to week.

 

F.A.Q.

 

What if I miss a week?

 

Missing a week due to illness, injury, or vacation will not eliminate you from the competition, you will simply be scored a “zero” for that particular workout. This will obviously affect your final score. Exceptions can be made if enough notice is given, a workout can be made up on the off weeks.

 

How does scaling work?

 

One major change for the 2018-2019 season will be the precedence placed on “Rx” over scaled workouts. All workouts will have scaled options, but completing a workout “Rx” will automatically score your workout higher than a scaled workout in the standings.
